Teacher Productivity Tools

  • Through my individual efforts I have learned that Kahoot! is a way to create your own quizzes to see in a fun way what students know already and what they might need more practice with! Depending on the subject and what questions you want to ask there are already made Kahoots! you can easily access too. Kahoot! gets students excited to see if they got the answers correct and to see how many points they scored compared to other students. Anything that gets students excited to learn is something that helps a teachers productivity!
  • By viewing bookmarks I learned how Google Docs is a great way to share documents with students and parents. The way that it updates automatically is the perfect way to keep everyone updated in real time. For example, in the beginning of the semester hurricane Irma cancelled classes for a week, causing class syllabus' to change drastically. Instead of teachers having to redo the entire document and resubmit it, they could simply fix it on Google Docs and it automatically updates!
